The University of Tehran is still under heavy control. The students at the Polytechnic Faculty are gathered in front of the Faculty.
Black vans and buses are in Qods street, 16 Azar Street and Poursina Street. Revolution Square and Revolution Street are full of anti-riot police forces.
It's Tuesday, the day after 16 Azar, Tuesday 7 December 2009. Things are still tense in my city of Tehran.

Basijis and IRG forces have attacked students at the University of Tehran. They fired tear gas, and were beating almost everyone in front of Polytechnic faculty.
In Enghelab Sq. also there are some basijis and plain clothes forces who are trying to attack people - especially students.
امروز 16 آذر ساعت 7:30 صبح، دروازه دولت: مردم با عجله در حال رفتن به سمت محل های کار خود هستند. همه چیز مانند یک روز عادی شروع می شود.
میدان فردوسی: ترافیک همیشگی هوای نیمه بارانی صبح تهران را غبر قابل تحمل تر کرده است.
چهار راه ولی عصر: همه چیز عادی نیست! در هر گوشه از چهار سوی چهار راهولیعصر نیروی هایی متفاوت با پلیس همیشگی دیده می شود. حدود 10-20 پلیس ضد شورش در هر گوشه دیده می شود. اینجاست که معنی واژه "تا بن دندان مسلح" را می فهمی! می بینی و درک می کنی. کلاه خود، سپر ضد گلوله، سپر های مخصوص بر روی دست و پاها، باتون فنری، باتون برقی، سلاح مخصوص شلیک گاز اشک آور !!! تعجب می کنی! و با خود می گویی: "نکند اینها قرار است با موجودات فضایی مانند جنگ ستارگان مبارزه کنند؟"و کمی آنسوتر مردانی که معروف به لباس شخصی ها هستند همراه با بی سیم های خود دیده می شوند.
گوینده اتوبوس بی آر تی اعلام می کند: "ایستگاه دانشگاه" خیابان وصال! آیا حکومت نظامی شده؟ در هر 10 متر دست کم 20 نفر از این نیروهای وحشتناک دیده می شود. با هم پچ پچ می کنند و به رهگذرانی که گویا "از همه جا بی خبر به آنها می نگرند" نگاه می کنند. هر دو گروه همدیگر را خوب می شناسند. رهگذران به نیروهای پلیس به چشم ...... نگاه می کنند و نیروهای پلیس به چشم ؟؟؟ کسی نمی داند؟!
در حالیکه با احتیاط تمام از لابلای نیروهای نیروهای بسیجی بی سیم به دست، نیروهای ضد شورش، نیروی های پلیس ترافیک و ون ها و اتوبوس های کاملا سیاه رنگ رد می شوی، گوشی موبایل خود را در جیبت پنهان میکنی! چون با دیدن اینها خودبخود تفهیم اتهام شده که داشتن موبایل در دست مساویست با کهریزک! به خودت جرات می دهی و به چهره آنان نگاه می کنی! کمی بیشتر باز هم جرات خود را می خواهی بسنجی "و ناخود آگاه خود را با آن دلاورانی که اکنون در زندان هستند، می سنجی" و از یکی از آنان می پرسی: "امروز چه خبره؟" اما آنها هم می دانند منظور تو چیست و با لحنی که تلاش می کنند رعب و وحشت بوجود آورند و با نشان دادن باتون خود نهیب می زنند: "وای نسا! برو برو!" خود را حق به جانب نشان می دهی و می گویی: "مگه من چی گفتم؟ چرا اینجوری برخورد می کنی؟" اما وقتی دیگر رفقای این موجودات عجیب اال البسه!!! به سمت تو می آیند تا به تو بفهمانند که نباید حتی توقف کنی و حتی نباید "بپرسی"،می فهمی که "اینها کی اند و اینجا کجاست" و به سمت دانشکده .... راهتو میکشی و میری!
سر خیابان ... سعی میکنی بدون هیچگونه جلب توجه از لابلای این هیولاها گذر کنی! اول صبح است و رهگذران زیادی در این کوچه نیستند! کافیست آنها بخواهند به تو گیر بدهند! آنوقت تبدیل می شوی به "مثل هیچ کس"
به دانشکده که می رسی هنوز دانشجویان نیامده اند! منتظر می شوی! یک سر به خیابان قدس می زنی! خیابان سیاه رنگ است! دیواره ای از هیولاهای سیاهرنگ ضد شورش در کنار هم رو به دانشگاه آماده حمله هستند! باز هم با خود فکر میکنی: "اینها قرار است با چه کسانی مبارزه کنند؟ دانشجویان؟ انها که زیر اولین باتون می توانی صدای خورد شدن استخوانشان را بشنوی؟ "

به نرده های دیوار دانشگاه نگاه میکنی! پرده نوشته های عید غدیر و ..... ! اینهمه پرده؟ دور تا دور دانشگاه را پوشانده اند! آنرا استتار کرده اند! به سمت درب شرقی میروی! لباس شخصی ها به جای حراست ورود و خروج را کنترل می کنند. آنها بی سیم به دست همه جا را در کنترل خود دارند.
ساعت 9:00 صبح. دانشگاه تهران. دانشجویان می آیند و می روند. هیچگونه تحرکی دیده نمی شود. نیروهای ضد شورش و بسیجی ها و لباس شخصی ها نیز در حال گشت زنی در تمام خیابان های اطراف دانشگاه هستند. خ قدس، خ پورسینا، خ 16 آذر و خ انقلاب روبری سردر اصلی یا به گفته دانشجویان: درب پنجاه تومنی! همه جا نیروهای ضد شورش همراه با اتوبوس های کاملا سیاه و پوشیده جولان می دهند.
ساعت 10 صبح دانشگاه تهران: وضعیت تغییری نکرده است. همه چیز ارام است. دانشجویان تنها در حال رفت و آمد هستند. کمی نگران می شوی از دوستانت پرس و جو میکنی: " پس چرا انجمن اسلامی اعلام تجمع نمی کنه؟" "فعلن خبری نیست. بچه ها یر کلاس هاشون هستند"
ساعت 11 دانشگاه تهران: به ناگاه صدای شعار دادن بچه ها رو می شنوی! گوش ها رو تیز می کنی! صدا صدایی آشناست: "مرگ بر دیکتاتور" کمی بعد صدای "مرگ بر خامنه ای" را نیز می شونی! و تا میروی به خیابان قدس تنها نیروهای ضدشورش را میبینی که در حال یورش بردن به سمت چندین نفر دانشجو هستند میروی جلوتر اما با هشدارهای باتون ها مواجه می شوی و کمی بعد از دانشجوها خبری نیست! گویا کودتاچی ها موفق شده اند جلوی تجمع را بگیرند! کمی بیشتر ناامید می شوی و ناحودآگاه به یاد دوستانت در کشورهای دیگر می افتی که آنها به امید تو شب زنده داری می کنند و بیشتر از هر ایرانی دیگری دلشان برای این خاک می تپد. احساس مسئولیت می کنی و باز هم پرس و جو می کنی. هنوز خیلی خبر خاصی نیست. تنها خبری که می تونی به دیگران اطلاع بدی اینه که دور تا دور دانشگاه محاصره شده! خیابان های اطراف هم کاملا در تصرف کودتاچی هاست!
ساعت 11:30 دانشکده فنی: به ناگاه و کمتر از یک دقیقه جلوی دانشکده فنی غوغا می شود دانشجویان به شدت در حال شعار دادن هستند:
مرگ بر خامنه ای
مرگ بر دیکتاتور
برادر رفتگر محمودو وردار ببر
و تصاویر خامنه ای را می بینی که شعله های آتش انرا به خاکستر تبدیل کرده است. با تمام وجودت شعار می دهی: مرگ بر خامنه ای
مرگ بر ستمگرچه شاه باشه چه رهبر
و شعارهایی تند که شخص خامنه ای را نشانه رفته اند فضای دانشگاه را پر کرده اند. لحظاتی بعد بسیجی ها و لباس شخصی ها با همه ی قوای خود به سمت دانشجویان حمله می کنند. و سعی می کنند آنها را متفرق کنند. با همه ی تلاش خود و با کمک نیروی هایی که با دیدنشان به یاد "شعبون بی مخ" می افتی، دانشجویان را کتک می زنند.
روز دانشجو مبارک! هدیه شما دانشجویان عزیز ضربه ی باتون و سنگ و فحش و ناسزاهاست.
کمی آرامتر می شوی! دیگر صدای ضربان قلب خود را نمی شنوی! پس اوضاع الان آرام شده است.
آنسوتر در خیابان انقلاب مردم مانند آرامش قبل از طوفان گویی منتظر رسیدن زمان تعیین شده هستند. از دوستان خود می شنوی که تمام دانشگاهای کشور در حال اعتراض هستند و همه جا ناآرام است. باز هم احساس مسئولیت می کنی و در حال صحبت با دیگر دانشجویان برای شروع یک اعتراض همه گیر در دانشگاه هستی .... کمی بعد دیگر فقط یک دانشکده نیست. دانشکده هنر های زیبا، دانشکده فنی، دانشگاه های دیگر، علم و صنعت، پلی تکنیک و شریف، دانشگاه آزاد واحد تحقیقات هم بپاخاسته!....کمی بعد دیگر همه جای شهر ناآرام شده! از دوستانت می شنوی که در خیابان سمیه بسیاری را دستگیر کرده اند. چهارراه ولیعصر به شدت ناآرام است. میدان هفت تیر درگیری شدید است. خیابان فخر رازی درگیری.... جیحون درگیری... میدان فردوسی درگیری.... دانشگاه علو و صنعت درگیری.....پلی تکنیک درگیری.....
در خیابان 16 آذرضد شورش با باتون دانشجوها را کتک می زند، با اشک آور آنها را متفرق می کند و لباس شخصی ها هم دانشجویان بی پناه را پس از دستگیری به درون اتوبوس های سیاه رنگ خود می اندازند.....
اینجاست که پاسخ پرسشت را در می یابی: آنها با آنهمه سلاح و تجیزات برای مبارزه با تو آمده اند! تویی که دستت خالیست اما پشتت به یک دنیا انسان آزاده گرم است.

Right now I am getting this news from the students at the University of Tehran. People are pouring into the streets gradually as they are leaving their work, and more protesters are going to Enghelab Sq. Students leaving the university and ordinary people ARE joining them!

At the beginning of the Taleghani St. there were - and still are - at least 10 totally BLACK buses and vans, and some vehicles that carried the guard-rails in order to block the streets, but the Buses are not EMPTY! They are full of riot forces! And there is a special van right in front of the eastern gate of the uni full of women commandos to get the catch the women.
No tear gas until recently but some clashes in front of the Uni of TRN made the Security Forces call in reinforcements to the front of the University. AND, for the second time, they are INSIDE the University - before they weren't!. The Basiji and Sepahi are controlling the gates. Students at the POLYTECHNIC faculty have been gathering and, despite heavy controls from basiji, were chanting "Death to Khamenei. This is UNHEARD OF before inside the University.
All Radios are blocked.

I've been at Uni of Teh since 8:00 this morning and so far there were only a handful of clashes between the students and security forces:
University of Tehran, UNDER HEAVY CONTROL: The plain clothes forces are in the university and are controlling all gates of the University. The Uni of THR is surrounded by the security forces. They are at all the streets close to the Uni of THR, Enghelab Sq., Qods St., Vesal and Taleghani st.
There are a bunch of at least 50 security forces at every corner of all junctions close to Uni f The, Valiasr-Taleghani, Vesal-Taleghani, EnghelabValiasr Junctions. The Traffic Police doesn’t allow any car to stop even for a second in Valiasr and Taleghani St.
Students at the Uni of THR gathered in front of the Western Gate of the Uni and were chanting "Death to Khameneie and Death to Dictator", where security police attacked them quickly spread them out. The Uni of THR is under HEAVY control and the Plain Clothes forces with their radios are controlling every gate of the Uni.

This year Students will be joined by others on the streets of the capital Tehran, and in towns and cities throughout the Country as thousands upon thousands will once more risk their lives to protest for their rights to freedom and democracy. 16 azar 2009 will be a nationwide uprising in Iran as people protest against the dictatorship of Khamenei and his Islamic Regime.
December 7th (16th of Azar in Persian calendar) is a pivotal day in Iranian modern history, especially this year. Dissent and uprising traditionally started with students in Universities and colleges. University of Tehran has always been a hot bed of activity rooting back to 1953 when Shah was forcefully brought back and 3 students were shot and killed right before Nixon paid a visit to Iran. In 1978 Shah ordered slaughtering students at point blank, that time without success. He was toppled, proving that tyrants WILL fall. In 1999, the current Islamic regime did the same...never learning from history. They kept their power, for the time being. In June of 2009, election was stolen and more people were slaughtered. they kept the power....for the time being. In memoriam of the innocent blood that was spilt by these tyrants (old and new) Demonstrations are scheduled. The deep rooted bloody history is never forgotten, it's in our hearts-- our hearts are green and it fuels the freedom movement. I support freedom of thought, expression and life anywhere...especially now, in Iran. The Pure-hearted shall prevail. Waves in history repeat themselves.....

Speaking to students in Mashhad, former President Rafsanjani has urged protestors and Regime both to find a peaceful way through the current crisis!! :
“Those who demonstrate or protest must express themselves through legal means. Leaders must also respect the law. There have always been extremist factions and excessive attitudes on both sides… but several problems will be solved if we adopt the path of moderation.”
16:00 GMT : A Tehran citizen posted to Facebook "Islamic dictatorship's telecom has announced that the mobile and internet service of the country shall be disabled for the whole day tomorrow!"
AP has reported that the Culture Ministry's warnings were not limited to foreign journalists but also to those few that remained pro-reformist within Iran. It warned Etemad, Hayat-e-Now, Aftab-eYazd and Azrar not to publish "divisive" material, the official IRNA news agency reported.

11:00 GMT - SARDAR NAGHDI (Commander in Chief of the Revolutionary Guard Sepah) shot Hojatola Behrooz of the Tehran Traffic Organisation at a meeting last week when the latter said it was impossible to guarantee that he could keep the streets clear of cars on 16 azar! Behrooz is in a bad way in hospital after receiving this bullet to his leg!

1. Preparations for the 16 Azar (December 7) protest are underway (written 4 December). Here are some of the highlights :

2. In anticipation of the protests, the government is continuing to summon students from universities across Iran and warning them not to take part in the protests. Reports from Tehran suggest that many students from Tehran University have been told that they would be promptly arrested if they joined the protests and would be expelled from the university. Six more students of Azad University in Tehran were summoned today to the disciplinary office of warned.

Christina has just graduated from University in Italy with a degree in archaeology.
